Bullet Points

* This afternoon I filled up a plastic baby pool and threw a bunch of O's boats in...that's all it takes to make my son completely content for an hour. I had to drag him out kicking and screaming. He kept playing like the boats were at the lake house and going to the ski lodge. I think he's ready to go!

* My health insurance is finally kicking in. Today I heard the beautiful words "copay." I about fainted when the lady called back and said your doctor visit will just be a $25 copay. (Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!) Usually for an appointment like that I'd be paying around $250, JUST to see him.

* Next Tuesday I'll have a consult/exam with Dr. Doctor. Ha. Guess he was bound to be a doctor. Anyway, he's a pain specialist who offices with my other doctor. I'm hoping to get some serious meds, shots, whatever sooner than later from him. Both docs will now work together to get everything back to where it should be. AMEN!

* Tomorrow I fly with Chel to Norman! I'm meeting a bunch of fam up there to watch Eric play in OU's Spring Game. (Hopefully they play him) My mom had t-shirts made. I'll take pics and post - they're cute. He's nervous and excited. All Saturday morning before the game they have activities and autograph signings. I pray I can make it the whole weekend without over doing it!

* I bought a CD called "Music Inspired by the Story", which is a 2-disc set of various popular Christian artists who sing about the stories in the Bible. It's AMAZING! My favorite is #2 and #10.

* I'm so glad my responsibilities have slowed down. For a while I was doing too much and trying to fight my own personal battle as well. Now the only thing other than mom/wife duties I need to focus on is leading Hospitality for RPC's Women's Ministry. I felt completely led to head up this team. One of my spiritual gifts is hospitality and another is leadership. This is a perfect fit. We have an event coming up next Tuesday that is going to be AWESOME. It's called "Just Between Us: Is It My Hormones or the Holy Spirit?" :)

* This summer, we are already looking forward to: lakehouse, a slow, laid-back schedule, seeing family, cooking out with friends, swimming in the backyard, play dates with moms and toddlers, a Galveston trip, Popsicles, and tank tops!
