Our Labor Day: Photo Story

An extra family day is just what the doctor ordered.

When Brett got home early from work we watched Tangled then headed to Hermann Park. Later we hit up Star Pizza - the BEST pizza in Houston. It had been since January or February since I had pizza. So it was way overdue!

We didn't even break a sweat walking around! Thank you low-90s weather and low humidity.

I can't imagine living where this is as hot as it ever gets. I would TOTALLY be in a GREAT mood every day.

We caught the last train of the day.

See the bunny on the right side? There were several and they definitely weren't afraid of people.

O'Ryan is funny. We take him to this huge, new park full of kids and he doesn't want to do ANYthing. (Not counting swing) He only opens up if he has a friend with him.

It was full of families having picnics, cooking out and enjoying the weather.

Trying to get him to pose for picture #154

"Ah the fountaing is spraying me!"

O'Ryan's gangster walk?

Star Pizza

Daddy took some cute pics...

He was getting sleepy (didn't nap) so the iPad saved the day.

Hmm Hm. A slice of heaven. Lots of glutens were eaten :)

This is one of those days that we will remember for a very long time. We are blessed to have a healthy, happy family of three. You don't need fancy to have a memorable day. Or extravagant. Or action-packed. Or expensive.

It's the simple, laid-back days that are absolutely the BEST!
