I'm Thankful For...

This year I'm thankful for...

1. My cozy house that I can call HOME.

2. That my family lives nearby and is always so supportive in everything I do.

3. My awesome, inspiring church that is like a second home to me.

4. My church home team that lifts me up everytime we get together.

5. Thankful to have a hard-working, self-motivated husband who has a job!

6. My girlfriends who let me vent, cry, laugh and be ME.

7. My dogs who entertain me when they're not bugging me!

8. My loving, dedicated, loyal husband who makes me laugh nonstop and is my best friend.

9. Thankful to be able to stay at home fulltime with my little one.

10. Most of all...I'm thankful to have a healthy, happy bundle of boy that keeps me going everyday, even when things are not easy. My happiness in life has reached a new level since Orien has been born. I am truly blessed to have my JOYFUL little Orien! Babies are a blessing straight from God. Thank you thank you Lord!

It's Been Too Long!

This post is WAY overdue! Life has kept us busy and blogging has been set on the back burner. Every year at this time our calendar and weekends fill up! Our weekends from now until Christmas are officially BOOKED! I love staying busy but it is exhausting!

This week we're heading to the lakehouse for some R&R and a trip to Sea World! Look for pics to come...

Two weekends ago we drove to Seguin with Judy (Craig was sick unfortunately) for Linsday's wedding - Brett's cousin. The wedding was beautiful! It was outside right on the Gaudalupe. The food was awesome and Orien won over everyone. We had so much fun but were worn out by the end of the night! Luckily the wedding was at 4:30 so we could sneak in an early bedtime.

Last week my grandparents were in town from Slidell, LA. I spent lots of time with them and got a GOOD Mamere & Papere fix :) I loveee them! I think they got their Orien fix too. Orien loved Papere and thought he was hilarious, especially when he whistled loud.

This past weekend Craig, Judy and Gran Bev came over for lunch and to hang out. It was SO fun. Good company and BBQ is the perfect way to spend Sunday. We are so blessed to have family around us. Many people don't have family nearby and I never take that for granted.

A Bald Baby = A Perfect Charlie Brown!

Our little man experienced another first this weekend: HALLOWEEN!! He was Charlie Brown, which suited him just perfect. Bald head and all! Enjoy the photos.
